Fees, Payments & Refund

ou are responsible for all charges, taxes, and fees arising from the use of your account.

Service Fees:

  • Flights: Online booking service fees are up to $40 per person for domestic travel and $50 per person for international travel. In many cases, no service fee applies. Fees are included in the total amount displayed at booking. TripJourney.site will never charge more than the authorized amount.

  • Exceptions: Business/First Class, multi-city itineraries, high-risk destinations, foreign origination, certain low-cost airlines, and last-minute international bookings may incur higher fees (up to $250 per passenger).

  • Hotels: Service fees may be up to $28 per night/room.

  • Call Center Bookings: Fees for complex bookings may range from $10 to $200 per passenger.

All service fees are non-refundable and subject to change. Government taxes and fees may also change; you will be charged the final total price as quoted.

Refunds:
Refunds are generally processed using the original payment method. For cash or wire payments, refunds may be issued by check or online transfer. Refunds for flight cancellations are typically initiated within 3 working days, but it may take 4–7 days to appear in your account depending on your bank.

Post Booking / Ticketing Service Fee

All post-booking or ticketing service fees are non-refundable and may change without notice. These fees are in addition to any charges imposed by airlines or other suppliers.

Bank and Credit card Fee

Some banks or credit card companies may charge fees for international transactions. These fees may appear on your statement as a foreign transaction or currency conversion fee. Booking international travel through TripJourney.site may be considered an international transaction if payments are passed to a foreign travel supplier. The exact exchange rate and fee are determined by your bank or card issuer. Please contact your bank or card company for details regarding these fees.

Credit Card Disputes and "Chargebacks"

Contact us at support@tripjourney.site for any concerns before disputing charges. By purchasing, you agree to pay all fees and not dispute charges after tickets or products are delivered.

Frivolous or fraudulent chargebacks may make you liable for the full reservation, legal/collection costs, and a $250 administrative fee. Unused flight segments may be canceled, but you remain responsible for all associated costs.

Cancelation

Most tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, and all service fees are non-refundable. Name changes are not allowed. For date or route changes, contact Customer Service at support@tripjourney.site. Changes may incur airline penalties, fare differences, and service fees. Some flights may be non-changeable. Prices exclude baggage fees. Credit card charges may occur in multiple transactions and may include foreign transaction fees.

Combo Fare

By combining multiple one-way tickets, Combo Fares allow you to find cheaper flights and more flight times that would not otherwise be available. Each one-way ticket is subject to their own rules and restrictions. If you want to make changes to your itinerary, each ticket will need to be changed separately and change fees could apply to each ticket.

Best Purchase Guarantee:

You may opt-in for a fee (displayed at checkout) to use our Best Purchase Guarantee, which allows extended cancellation for major carriers without standard administrative fees.

  • USA point of sale: Cancel up to 24 hours from purchase.

  • Canada point of sale: Cancel by 11:50 PM EST on the day of purchase.

This guarantee may not apply to immediate travel.

Promo / Coupon code

Promo or coupon codes provide discounts on service fees only. Some codes may be for online use, while others are for phone bookings. Discounts cannot exceed the service fee, are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. Codes must be applied at checkout—they cannot be applied after purchase, and no credit or discount will be given retroactively.

Right to cancel:

Once your booking request is confirmed, we reserve the right to cancel confirmed bookings if full payment is not received by us within a reasonable time after you make such purchase. We also reserve the right, to the extent allowed by law, to cancel your confirmed booking for reasons such as fraud or other illegal activity. Please note that we do not control air carriers that provide air travel services. If an air carrier cancels your booking, you should contact the air carrier directly.

Fraud Detection and Prevention

When you submit payment information, TripJourney.site may process it to detect potential fraud. This may include a temporary charge (usually $1.00 USD or less) to verify your payment method. We may contact you or your bank to confirm validity.

We may decline transactions we consider high-risk and will notify you by email. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or payment information. TripJourney.site is not responsible for losses from unauthorized use. In some cases, we may require a credit card authorization form and a government-issued photo ID.

Disclosure of Financial Information

To process any payment you make through TripJourney.site, TripJourney.site may disclose any information you provide us to your bank or financial institution and to any third-party intermediaries involved in the transaction. By using the Services, you authorize TripJourney.site to disclose payment information to process your booking request.

Booking notification

Once your purchase is complete, you should receive an email titled “Booking Notification.” Your booking may provide you with a confirmation number before a ticket has been issued. If this is the case, the booking process is not complete and the fare is subject to change until a ticket is issued.

Once your ticket has been issued, you should receive your an airline confirmation number and electronic ticket.

We strongly recommend that you re-confirm your flight reservation with the airline 24 hours prior to departure for domestic flights, and 72 hours prior to departure for international flights.

Name on Reservation

All reservations must be made in the exact name of the person traveling, as stated on the government issued IDs or government issued passport of the traveler. Once tickets are issued, misspelled names and parts of names cannot be changed. If you find you need to change or correct the spelling of a name after you’ve made a reservation, additional fees will be assessed to process the change, regardless of whether the change is approved by the airline. In certain circumstances, you will have to cancel your reservation, if allowed, and purchase new tickets. It is your responsibility to verify the spelling of the names of all passengers before making your reservation.

Airline Prices

All prices displayed on our Website are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Airfare is only guaranteed once the purchase has been completed and the tickets have been issued. Airlines and other Travel Service Providers may change their prices without notice. If a price increase occurs after you have made a reservation that affects your travel package, we will notify you of the price increase before taking any further steps. However, no price increases will affect your travel package once your reservation has been finalized and ticket has been issued. The price applied on the date of issuance of the ticket is only valid for a ticket fully utilized and in the sequential order of flight segments on the dates indicated. Improper use may void the ticket and result in cancellation of the entire trip.

Special request; seats, meals and frequent flyer

Please note that requesting specific seats, meals, frequent flyers etc. are requests only. The airline reserves the right to make revisions to the seat allocation without notification. All requests should be confirmed with the airline and we cannot guarantee that passengers will be assigned the seats they’ve requested. Furthermore, we are unable to promise that your meal/frequent flyer/other special requests will be confirmed by the airline in question. Please ensure that you contact the airline you’ve booked with in order to confirm the requests you’ve made. When making a request through TripJourney.site, you expressly accept the possibility that the third party provider, distributor, or supplier may not satisfy your special requests or may charge you additional fees. No purchase or reservation may be cancelled based on the failure of a third party provider, distributor or supplier to satisfy any special requests.

Unaccompanied Minors

Tickets will not be sold directly to unaccompanied minors age 16 and under. Each airline sets its own policies and regulations for children traveling without adult supervision. Some airlines may not allow unaccompanied minors to travel without an adult. Some airlines will only allow unaccompanied minors to travel on non-stop flights. Many airlines may require additional fees to be paid at check-in. You must call the airline to verify rules and restrictions for an unaccompanied minor traveling alone.

Airline Baggage Policies

Each airline has its own policies regarding baggage allowances, fees and restrictions. These policies vary by airline, and they change from time to time. While some airlines offer free bag allowance, other airlines may charge fees for checked and carry-on luggage, which include, but are not limited to the first bag checked-in fees, additional bag check-in fees and excess baggage weight fees. Baggage fees are not included in your trip cost and will be charged directly by the airline at check-in. Ultimately, you are responsible for verifying your airline’s baggage policies and fees before your departure. Any advice regarding airline baggage fees provided by TripJourney.site is merely intended to provide guidance and TripJourney.site is not responsible or liable for any claim, including claims based on incorrect or out-of-date information, arising from or in connection with the information provided. We recommend you contact the airline directly for the latest fees on checked baggage and policy as it relates to baggage. Please be aware that baggage fees are not included in the cost of your trip.

Check -in

Every airline will have their requirements pertaining to check-in. It is important to verify what the check-in requirements are prior to your flight. As per the flight industry standard, we recommend the following for your check-in: -Domestic flights: Minimum 90 minutes prior to departure -Transborder and International flights: Minimum 3 hours prior to departure

Notice of Boarding Times

For Domestic flights, customers must be at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure. For International flights, customers must be at the boarding gate at least 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrive at the airport with enough time to complete check-in, baggage, and security screening processes within these minimum time limits. Please be sure to check flight information monitors for the correct boarding gate and the departure time of your flight. Failure to be at the boarding gate by the required time could result in the loss of your seat without compensation, regardless of whether you are already checked in or have a confirmed seat and boarding pass.

Airline Schedule Change

Flight schedules may change or be canceled due to weather, mechanical issues, crew, civil unrest, or other reasons. Changes may include added stops or connections. These changes are determined by the airline.

TripJourney.site will try to notify you by phone or email, but airlines may not provide advance notice. You are responsible for reconfirming your flight 72 hours and 24 hours before departure. Once checked in, the airline manages your reservation, including cancellations or delays, and is responsible for rebooking.

If schedule changes occur close to departure or during travel, work directly with airline staff for alternative options. During events like severe weather, your options may be limited.

Future Travel Credit

Future travel credits are subject to the airlines fare rules and your ticket restrictions. Future travel credits are non-refundable and non-transferable to another traveler. When the credit is redeemed, it must be used by the same person whose name appears on the original ticket. Future travel credits are only applicable with the airline originally used to book your initial Ticket. If a future travel credit is applicable, depending on the airline fare rules and your ticket restrictions, it may be used towards the value of a new ticket which must be of equal or higher value. It must be reissued and used within the time period permitted by the original rules of the Ticket. In addition, additional fees, the difference in fare and routing restrictions may apply.

Overbooking of Flights

Airline flights may be overbooked, and there is a slight chance that a seat will not be available on a flight for which a person has a confirmed reservation. Each airline has its own rules for dealing with such scenarios, which are contained in the airline’s contract of carriage. Check with the airline or call us.

Prices

Travel service prices on TripJourney.site are as quoted at the time of booking, except in cases of obvious error. Prices may change at any time but will not affect confirmed bookings. If a pricing error occurs, TripJourney.site reserves the right to correct it. You may be offered the option to confirm your booking at the correct price, or the reservation may be canceled without penalty. TripJourney.site is not obligated to honor bookings at an incorrect price.

Human & System Error

If any of our agents make a mistake or any other system error is occurred in the booking / Ticketing process we shall make reasonable attempts to rectify these errors at the time of occurrence. We stands committed to providing compensation up to a maximum of the entire service fees that we have collected for that booking in addition to a coupon as redemption towards purchases from TripJourney.site in the future. You must notify us of errors within 24 hours of receiving your itinerary & e-ticket number.
